The target was a military facility near Karatjev in the Brjansk region, according to a source to the media company RBC.
It was successfully destroyed, the source claims.
Russian authorities, on the other hand, claim that five of the drones were successfully shot down. The sixth allegedly hit a military area, but in pieces. The only damage that occurred was a minor fire, according to the Moscow regime.
The location is approximately 13 miles from the border.
The USA is said to have given a long-awaited green light for attacks with long-range weapons, primarily Atacms, into Russia, just the other day. However, it is unclear how many such weapons Ukraine has available.
