A man in his 30s has died after a traffic accident in Uppvidinge municipality on Thursday evening, reports Aftonbladet.
The man, who was driving alone in a car, collided with another car containing three people in their 80s.
Two of the people in their 80s, a man and a woman, are lightly injured, while one is seriously injured, writes Region Kronoberg on its website.
It is likely that the collision occurred after the now deceased man drove out from a stop sign, says the police's on-duty investigator to Aftonbladet.
The incident is being investigated as gross negligence in traffic, gross drunk driving, and causing bodily harm.
