The chairman of the Jewish community in Gothenburg, Allan Stutzinsky, has recently received sharp criticism for sharing an image that has been pointed out as Islamophobic.
Now he is taking a break from both the chairmanship and his political assignment for The Liberals, reports Göteborgs-Posten.
It was last summer that Allan Stutzinsky shared a caricature on Facebook. This has led to harsh criticism from several politicians in Gothenburg, where Stutzinsky is a substitute in the municipal council. Even the Jewish community has distanced itself from the publication.
Now he has chosen to take a break from his assignments.
It's about me getting space for my own handling, says Allan Stutzinsky to GP.
