A man in his 25s was kidnapped by two people in Perstorp on Saturday evening and was taken away in a car. The man was however able to escape – after the kidnappers' car was stopped in a routine check, writes Helsingborgs Dagblad.
Just before midnight, the police in Perstorp stopped a car at a traffic check.
A car came driving and when it stopped, a man fled out of the car and called for the police's attention, says Jörgen Winberg, duty investigation manager at Helsingborg police, to HD.
It turned out that the man had been kidnapped by the other two in the car. The men in their 20s and 30s are known to the police from before and were arrested suspected of kidnapping.
