A seven-day-old baby who was reported missing in Trollhättan has been found seemingly unharmed, according to the police.
The child, who is a girl, disappeared from her guardian during a walk.
The child and the stroller have been found in the nearby area by a police patrol and the child appears to be doing well in the initial assessment. An ambulance has been called for a medical assessment and the guardians have been notified.
The alarm about the disappearance came just before 5 pm and since the police could not rule out a crime, they initiated a preliminary investigation into kidnapping and a major search effort was launched.
The child was found barely two hours after the alarm.
