The earth is still shaking.
That's what Israel's President Isaac Herzog said when he held a speech on the anniversary of the Hamas attack.
During the attack last year, terrorist-stamped Hamas killed over 1,100 people. Around 250 people were taken hostage. Today, there are around a hundred people who have neither been released nor confirmed dead.
Isaac Herzog said in his speech, which was directed to Jews around the world, that Israel's wounds still cannot heal completely.
Since hostages are still being tortured, executed, and dying in captivity, he said, according to Jerusalem Post.
Herzog pointed to the resilience of the Israeli people and emphasized the importance of standing united against anti-Semitism worldwide.
He brought up the lasting impact that the terrorist attacks have on Israeli society.
It's everywhere in our country.
