Many Turks are testifying in other social media on Friday morning that they cannot access Instagram, writes the news agency AFP.
According to the regime-loyal newspaper Sabah, the country's leadership is angry that Instagram removed positive posts about the deceased Hamas leader Ismail Haniya.
The Palestinian extremist movement Hamas is labeled as a terrorist organization in large parts of the Western world, but Erdogan has called its members freedom fighters.
