It's going slow for several luxury brands, but French Hermès can show an increased profit in the latest quarterly report.
Sales amounted to 7.5 billion euros, equivalent to nearly 88 billion kronor for the first half of the year. And that's an increase of 12 percent compared to the same period last year.
The net profit landed at 2.4 billion euros, an increase of 6.4 percent.
On Wednesday, Gucci's owner Kering released its interim report. It showed, among other things, that the company's net profit for the half-year had dropped sharply.
Even the French luxury giant LVMH, with brands like Louis Vuitton and Christian Dior in its portfolio, has released a report showing a decreased net profit.
