The meat and charcuterie producer Mora salt and smoking is recalling the product Bryggarns Hästkorv manufactured and sold between November 4 and 18.
The sausage may contain listeria, according to both the National Food Agency and Mora salt and smoking on their websites.
That listeria infection causes symptoms in humans is rare, according to the Public Health Agency. The bacterium is relatively harmless to most people but can cause serious illness in individuals with impaired immune systems, frail elderly and pregnant women.
