Hexagon's CEO Paolo Guglielmini gets fired

The measurement technology group Hexagon's CEO Paolo Guglielmini is leaving immediately.

"The board believes that new leadership is necessary to lead the company through its next phase", the company writes in a press release.

The acting CEO will be Norbert Hanke, who takes office with immediate effect.

"The board is now starting the process of finding a new CEO to accelerate growth and take advantage of the opportunities we see in the market", writes chairman of the board Ola Rollén.
