After some poorer results at the end of last year, the world number one in show jumping, Henrik von Eckermann, is back as a winner. He won the GP class on Friday at the World Cup competition in Basel, reports SVT.
Initially, there were 17 faultless teams, but in the jump-off, the Swedish star put on a show and was the fastest of all with a time of 38.68 seconds.
Frenchman Simon Delestre with the horse Dexter Fontenis Z came second, and Irishman Denis Lynch with Vistogrand came third.
The victory is von Eckermann's first since the Stockholm Horse Show at the end of November.
