"Hamas is urging the mediators to present a plan for implementing what has been proposed by Hamas... based on Biden's vision and the UN Security Council's decision, and to force the occupant (Israel) to implement it, rather than holding more talks or coming up with new proposals," reads a statement from the terrorist-designated organization late on Sunday.
The mediators from the USA, Qatar, and Egypt have invited both Israel and Hamas for a new round of negotiations on Thursday.
New Evacuation Order
Hundreds of residents in Khan Yunis in southern Gaza are fleeing their homes again. The flight comes after the Israeli military urged residents to leave their homes.
The Israeli army IDF issued an evacuation order on Sunday morning for several neighborhoods in the city, including an area designated by Israel as a humanitarian zone.
"Hamas and terrorist organizations continue to fire rockets from your areas. Israel will strike forcefully against these units. For your safety, you must immediately evacuate these areas," the message read.
The warning was delivered through leaflets dropped from the air and phone messages to residents. The al-Jalaa area was specifically pointed out.
Over 75,000 Have Left
The UN agency for Palestinian refugees, UNRWA, reports that "more than 75,000 people have been forced to leave their homes in recent days".
The evacuations come a day after the Israeli drone attack on a school in Gaza City, where around 80 people were killed, according to Hamas-controlled authorities.
Israel has stated that the attack targeted a militant command center at the school, and that at least 19 militiamen belonging to the terrorist-designated Hamas and Islamic Jihad were killed.
