Volleyball star Isabelle Haak and the rest of the Swedish national team are reigning champions in the European Golden League tournament. Now it is clear that the team will get the chance to defend their title on home soil.
The weekend of June 28-29 next summer, Sweden will host the "Final Four", with semifinals and medal matches. The venue will be Ängelholm, which is really home turf for the Haak sisters, Isabelle and Anna.
"Ängelholm is home! A fantastic city to grow up in. And it was there we fell in love with volleyball and developed as players in Engelholms VS. To get to come home with the national team and step into the Catena Arena is a dream come true," say the sisters in a press release.
The Swedish women's volleyball team achieved a historic triumph when they became Golden League champions earlier this year.
