Last year, among other things, E-Type read aloud from Frans G Bengtsson's "The Red Snake" and the year before that, it was Selma Lagerlöf's "Gösta Berling's Saga" that was read live.
The broadcast from Hasselbacken in Stockholm begins at 3 pm and continues until late evening.
"We are very pleased with our high-caliber readers. It will be very exciting to hear how it sounds when they take on 'Doctor Glas', which is such a well-written book", says producer Anders Lundgren in a press release.
"Doctor Glas" by Hjalmar Söderberg was first published in 1905.
