The artists state on social media that the purpose of their participation is to protect other artists from being "threatened to silence or cancelled" by organizations such as UK Lawyers for Israel (UKLFI).
"I have, like everyone who has a heart, felt despair and helplessness in the face of the reports that have come from Gaza and the West Bank in recent days, months and years," writes Damon Albarn, known from bands like Blur and Gorillaz, on Instagram.
Others who are ready for the performance "Together for Palestine" are Bastille, Greentea Peng, Mabel, Paloma Faith and several others. Among the Palestinian artists are Adnan Joubran, Faraj Suleiman and Nai Barghouti.
"Together for Palestine" takes place at Wembley Arena in London on September 17.
