The British artist Sam Fender ended Friday's concert at the Danish festival Syd for Solen in Copenhagen by inviting Greta Thunberg and several other activists onto the stage, writes Gaffa.
Prior to ”Hypersonic Missiles” Fender told that he wrote the song, which is about Gaza, already in 2018. On the stage a large Palestinian flag was seen and slogans like "Free Palestine" and "From the river to the sea" were shouted out.
Among the activists was also Danish Selma de Montgomery, who directed criticism at Denmark's continued arms export to Israel.
Greta Thunberg also participated earlier in the summer at the Roskilde festival, where she visited MØ's concert.
