There are no "red lines" when it comes to France's support to Ukraine, says France's Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot to BBC.

On the question of whether it means that France can place forces on Ukrainian soil, he responds:

We are not ruling out any alternatives.

We will support Ukraine as intensively and for as long as it is needed. Why? Because our security is at stake. Every time the Russian army advances by a square kilometer, the threat comes one square kilometer closer to Europe, he says.

Jean-Noël Barrot says that Ukraine can fire French long-distance missiles against Russia "in self-defense", but does not want to confirm whether French weapons have already been used in such attacks.
