The Wallenberg sphere's venture capital company EQT has, via the bidding company Otello Bidco, acquired an additional seven million shares in OX2 and thereby secured 75.7 percent of the shares in the wind power company, writes EQT in a stock exchange notice.

Otello Bidco has, as a result, achieved direct ownership of 30.2 percent in OX2, which means that a so-called mandatory bid applies. Against this background, Otello Bidco declares its bid on OX2 at 60 kronor per share as unconditional.

The acceptance period for the bid ends on September 23, according to EQT.

It was in May this year that the EQT fund Infrastructure VI, via Otello Bidco, made a bid on OX2 for 60 kronor per share.
