55 years after the start, Electric Light Orchestra, ELO, says goodbye to the live audience. According to Billboard, Jeff Lynne and his band will perform in Hyde Park in London as part of the Summertime Festival on July 13.
The 76-year-old Lynne, who helped start ELO in Birmingham in 1970, states in a statement that he made his comeback as a live artist in 2014 in Hyde Park itself. "It feels like the perfect place to do our last show."
ELO was most successful during the late 70s and early 80s, with songs like "Don't bring me down" and albums like "Out of the blue".
