The police investigators have not found anything that can be prosecuted and therefore will not proceed with a formal criminal investigation.

However, the examination of the controversial group Kneecap's concert – which, unlike Bob Vylan's, was broadcast live on BBC – and the slogans about "death to IDF", i.e. Israel's military, continues.

Kneecap's performances are often politically charged and the group has been outspoken in their criticism of Israel's warfare in Gaza. During the concert at Glastonbury, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, who was critical of Kneecap being allowed to perform, was accused of "arming a genocide". The slogans "free Palestine" were also chanted.

One of the members of Kneecap, Mo Chara, is charged with a crime under British terror laws as he is suspected of having waved a Hizbollah flag during a concert earlier this year. He is due to appear in court in August.

This summer, Kneecap will come to the Göteborg festival Way Out West.
