A shocking incident occurred in Daejeon, South Korea, where a female elementary school teacher in her 40s has been arrested for allegedly murdering an 8-year-old student.
According to reports, the victim was found with stab wounds on her shoulders and hands. The suspect, who was also found at the scene with severe injuries, was in critical condition at the time of discovery. The victim had remained at school due to an after-school childcare program.
When the child’s parents could not contact her, they reported her missing to the police. Following an investigation, authorities tracked the victim’s mobile phone location and found her lying inside a storage room within the school's audiovisual room.
Emergency responders transported her to the hospital immediately, but she was in cardiac arrest and was later pronounced dead. The suspect has reportedly confessed to the murder. Although she remains hospitalized, her condition is no longer life-threatening, and she is scheduled to undergo surgery.
The police plan to investigate her motive and other details of the crime once her medical condition stabilizes.
