The Greek-owned cargo ship that was hit by a drone attack from the Houthi movement on Wednesday is feared to have sunk, according to the British trade organisation for maritime trade UKMTO.
According to a report from UKMTO, debris and oil were spotted at the location where the ship was last reported in the Red Sea.
The Houthi movement has claimed responsibility for the attack.
The ship, which is registered in Liberia and was last in port in Russia, initially took on water and the crew was subsequently evacuated by military personnel.
According to media reports, the ship was carrying 80,000 tonnes of coal.
