Spanish authorities have seized four tons of cocaine found on a cargo ship.
The ship was located about 130 nautical miles from Lanzarote, which is part of the Canary Islands, when it was stopped. The entire crew of ten people was arrested.
The cargo ship sailed under the Tanzanian flag. It drew attention after it had made a journey from Turkey to West Africa without loading or unloading goods.
The ship then made a number of "irregular maneuvers" before setting course for the Iberian Peninsula, according to authorities in a statement.
