It indicates that they were likely killed by their kidnappers, reports Israeli media with reference to the report's conclusions.

The bodies were found behind a screen wall in a tunnel under Khan Yunis at the beginning of the week. Four more bodies were found near the remains of the hostages, likely extremists according to Israel's military.

Hostages and Missing Families Forum, an organization that gathers relatives of hostages in Gaza, responds to the autopsy report by calling for an immediate agreement between Israel and the terrorist-stamped Hamas.

"The return of the six bodies is no achievement; it is evidence of the complete failure to reach an agreement in time, as six hostages who should have returned to life have returned in coffins", they say in a statement.
