At least seven people have been killed in an attack on a school building in the city of Gaza, according to the civil defense in the Palestinian area.
The school has been under the administration of the UN agency UNRWA and has housed many fleeing Palestinians during the war. It is located in the eastern parts of the city, which is located in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.
On Monday, at least two people were killed in a similar attack on a school building on the outskirts of Beit Lahia, which is located near the northern border of the strip. Like in most attacks on civilian buildings, Israel claims that the school was used by fighting members of the Islamist movement Hamas.
On Sunday, another school building in the same city was bombed, resulting in at least four fatalities.
According to the latest tally from the authorities in Hamas-controlled Gaza, more than 41,600 people have been killed there during the war of the past year.
