Last Sunday, Ebba Årsjö showed that she is in a class of her own when she won her seventh World Championship gold, this time in giant slalom.
And now the para-sport star has cashed in another one.
In Tuesday's slalom, she was once again completely unbeatable and won by a landslide. This means she has taken her eighth World Championship gold. An incredible achievement, which she herself thanks her upbringing for.
It's no secret that it has helped me to ski, train, and grow up with "normal" skiers. It has meant that the level set has been high from the start, and that I have pushed myself more than anyone can imagine, says Årsjö to TT.
Already after the first run, the 24-year-old led by 2.35 seconds, and when she crossed the finish line after her second run, she had increased her lead to a full 5.03 seconds.
This means she has defended her World Championship gold from 2023 in both giant slalom and slalom.
But despite her successful World Championship, there will be no big celebration. At least not in Slovenia.
Unfortunately, we have to jump in the car and drive a long way now. But that won't stop us, we can celebrate in the car or something!
