A woman in her 40s has died after being hit in an accident in Östergötland last week, local media reports. The police have initiated an investigation into manslaughter.
The incident occurred on Highway 32 outside Mjölby, when the woman had stopped to help people in another car that had been involved in a wildlife accident.
She was going to get something from her car and was then hit by a third car, says Mikael Andersson at Motala Police to Corren.
The woman was seriously injured and was treated in the intensive care unit. The driver of the car that hit the woman is now suspected of manslaughter.
