The two men who were detained for the shooting in Partille on Thursday have been released, according to the Prosecution Authority for Partille Newspaper. It is unclear whether the suspicion of attempted murder remains, according to the newspaper.
No one was injured in the shooting that took place on a parking lot in central Partille, east of Gothenburg. The police found bullet holes on a car but do not know who the shots were directed against.
Later on Thursday, another shooting occurred in Gothenburg. A 25-year-old man was found shot in Bagaregården and later died of his injuries.
According to the police, it is too early to say whether the two incidents are connected to each other.
