The President of the USA, Donald Trump, has invited Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to a meeting at the White House in Washington on February 4, according to Netanyahu's office in a statement.
"Prime Minister Netanyahu is the first foreign leader to be invited to the White House during President Trump's second term", it states in the statement.
The visit takes place while the USA is trying to get Israel and terrorist-stamped Hamas to continue the ceasefire that began earlier in January.
The first phase of the ceasefire is six weeks long, and during that time, negotiations will take place about the second phase of the ceasefire being initiated.
