The night against Sunday is here again. Then Sweden is switching to winter time – or returning to normal time – after the summer.
Despite summer time being introduced in 1980, there is still widespread confusion among many about which direction the clock hands should be turned at each change. Many have help with this question through the rule of the grill or outdoor furniture. That is, when it's time for summer time, the grill, outdoor furniture, and also the clock should be moved forward.
And now that winter time is approaching, the clock and summer equipment should be moved back.
At 02:59 the night against Sunday, it will therefore be 02 o'clock again and the day will be 25 hours.
In five months, winter time will be over and the night between the 29th and 30th of March 2025, the clocks will be set forward again for the summer.
