The Government gives the country's county administrative boards the task of developing regional resource centers for people exposed to honor crimes, reports TV4 News.

Resource centers against honor oppression are still lacking in several of the country's counties, including Blekinge, Västerbotten and Södermanland.

Those who are affected by these should know that they are not alone. The important thing is that we can now get a local and regional support so that everyone can get the help they need, says Minister for Gender Equality Nina Larsson (The Liberals) to TV4.

The Government allocates approximately 40 million kronor to the initiative this year, but future grants will be decided in the autumn budget negotiations.
