The municipality writes on its website that all water that is to be drunk or used in cooking must be boiled. This applies to residents in Gnesta town center who have municipal water.

A test showed elevated bacterial levels in connection with the repair of a water leak. It is about suspected E. coli bacteria, according to the newspaper.

The boiling recommendation applies until further notice.

The municipality is waiting for the answer to a water sample and does not plan to put out water tanks, since the water can be used as usual as long as it is boiled properly.
