A person has been found dead in an apartment in southern Stockholm. The circumstances behind the death are unclear, but the police suspect that a crime may be behind it.
A preliminary investigation into murder has been initiated. The police have arrested a suspected person.
We receive information that a person tells others that there is a dead person in an apartment. When we check the information, we see that it is true, so the one who has stated this to other people, we have arrested, says the police's press spokesperson Daniel Wikdahl to TT.
The police do not want to say anything about age or sex, neither regarding the deceased nor the person arrested, other than that it concerns adult persons. The police also do not go into why they suspect a crime.
The apartment has been cordoned off for a technical examination.
We are not looking for more perpetrators right now, says Wikdahl.
