Three people have been arrested for involvement in the murder of a boy in Bagarmossen in southern Stockholm on the night of Wednesday, July 10.
Two of the detainees are under 18 years old and are suspected of involvement in the shooting. The third person, who is over 18 years old, is suspected of protecting the perpetrator, according to the Prosecutor's Office in a press release.
"The investigation continues with technical examination, DNA tracing, and interviews. The police are seeking additional witnesses who may have made observations in connection with the incident," says prosecutor Daniel Insulander in the press release.
The boy who was shot dead was between 15 and 18 years old and died at the hospital from his injuries.
Just a few days earlier, a suspected shooting occurred in the same area, where loud bangs were heard and people were seen fleeing the scene. The police are investigating possible connections between the events.
