Sergel's Square in Stockholm was filled as people gathered to mark the three-year anniversary of Russia's war of invasion in Ukraine.

In the politically independent demonstration "Sweden stands up for Ukraine", participants included, among others, Finance Minister Elisabeth Svantesson (M), S leader Magdalena Andersson, historian Peter Englund, and opera singer Lars Cleveman.

Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022.
