The decision was made by a judge on Thursday, citing the "very sensitive" information in the case, writes Billboard.
The judge's decision is based, among other things, on the woman's health condition, as she claims to suffer from depression and post-traumatic stress after the assault. The judge has also taken into account that the woman's lawyers claim that Combs has threatened several of the over 120 people who have accused him of assault.
The woman has sued the two hip-hop stars in a civil lawsuit. The rape allegedly took place in connection with an after-party during the MTV Video Music Awards 2000. Both Jay-Z and "Diddy" deny the allegations.
The judge's decision applies for the time being and can be changed during the course of the case.
