On Monday evening, test results showed that the water is safe and unaffected. It is now safe to use the water as usual.
The municipality has now decided to lift the restrictions in Ambjörnarp, Tranemo, Limmared, and Månstad.
On December 23, the police were alerted to a water intake in Tranemo after an alarm about a broken lock. Since then, residents have been advised not to drink or cook with tap water.
Previously, on December 17, it was discovered that areas around a water reservoir in Bollebygd were not locked. Residents there are still advised not to drink tap water.
In Bollebygd, the incident is being investigated as suspected sabotage, and in Tranemo as an attempt at suspected sabotage.
