We received a large number of calls at 01 hour and it turned out that something had been thrown in through a window into an apartment which then exploded. There are no personal injuries and we are forming an opinion right now about what happened and the bomb squad and technicians are on their way, says Joakim Björkkvist, duty officer at police region South.
It is unclear if anyone was in the apartment when the object was thrown in.
I think the residents came home after it happened and that no one was in the apartment but it is unclear yet, says Joakim Björkkvist.
A man in his 20s was arrested during the night and is now suspected of attempted murder and crime against the law on explosive and flammable goods.
It is unknown what exploded and how large the damage is.
The window is broken but I do not know how bad it is inside the apartment. We have not had to evacuate anyone, says Joakim Björkkvist.
The area is blocked off for technical investigation.
