It was a thrilling conclusion to Tjejvasan 2025.
When it all was to be decided, a cluster of six skiers had positioned themselves to sprint for the win. Among them were several big names, such as Norwegian Emilie Fleten, who is second in the overall standings in Ski Classics, and Swedish Jenny Larsson, who is third.
And first across the finish line was also 29-year-old Larsson, who outpaced everyone. It was the first time in her career that she won Tjejvasan.
There was only one focus, it was just that finish line I had to be first across, says Larsson to SVT and continues:
It's great to succeed. I've wanted this victory for a long time now, and just being number one is so "awesome" anyway.
Second place went to Louise Lindström, and Finnish Kati Roivas came in third.
