At lunchtime on Wednesday, a teacher saw an unknown and knife-wielding man walking slowly behind one of the school's students in the school's parking lot.
When she urged the student to run, the man turned his attention and went on the attack. The 36-year-old teacher was stabbed in the stomach and was flown to the hospital by ambulance helicopter with what was described as serious injuries.
On Thursday, Expressen reported that the woman's condition was stable and that she had been discharged from the hospital.
They are still working with some kind of threat scenario, says Rebecca Landberg on Friday, but notes that they do not have knowledge of a threat scenario against any individual student.
This is confirmed in a press release by prosecutor Lina Pulkkinen, who is leading the investigation.
"The plaintiff will be heard during the day and other investigative measures, such as collecting technical evidence, are ongoing. We have not found any threat scenario against any student."
According to Rebecca Landberg, the police, via cameras in the area, have not been able to discern that the perpetrator was following any specific student.
