On Tuesday, Minister for Gender Equality Paulina Brandberg (L) presented the proposal that The Liberals hope to get through in the government cooperation, reports TV4 News.
We see it as a huge problem that more than every other young teenage girl sits and finds fault with her body after following influencers on social media. We want it to be clearer that many of the images that young girls look at are retouched, says the minister to TV4.
In countries like France and Norway, there is already legislation that requires influencers or companies to mark advertisements that are retouched. In Norway, you can get fined if you break the law, and The Liberals propose that the penalty should also apply in Sweden.
