The former football coach and expert commentator Bosse Petersson's advice to the young football star Hugo Larsson: Think now so that you don't burn all your chances.

The Footballer's Advice: Don't Burn Your Chances

He doesn't want the 20-year-old to make the same mistake he did 47 years ago when he left AIK in anger after being dropped from the starting eleven.

"I ended my Allsvenskan career the same second I was told to sit on the bench", he writes on X.

"The biggest mistake of my life", he continues.

Hugo Larsson got no playing time in the national team against Azerbaijan and then went out and criticized national team coach Jon Dahl Tomasson. After that, he left the national team gathering with what was said to be an injury.

Petersson thinks Larsson should swallow his pride and sit down and talk to the national team coach.

Think now so you don't burn all your chances, says Petersson to Expressen.

So you don't sit as a 78-year-old and regret things you did 40 years ago.
