Viktor Gyökeres presented himself as the goal scorer for Arsenal when he headed in a pass from Martin Zubimendi in the 35th minute in the training match against Athletic Club.
The Swedish attacker celebrated with his well-known goal gesture in front of the home crowd at Emirates Stadium in London – tying his hands in front of his face.
Two minutes later, Bukayo Saka followed up the goal and extended the lead to 2–0. In the final minutes, Kai Havertz made it 3–0 which became the final result.
Viktor Gyökeres, 27, was sold from Sporting to Arsenal in July for a total sum of nearly 840 million kronor.
