Anton Källberg Exits WTT Champions After Loss to Harimoto in Japan

Anton Källberg did not get into the game – until it was too late. After a dismal eighth final, where Japanese Tomokazu Harimoto won in three straight sets, the Swede is eliminated from WTT Champions in Japan.

It became a tough start for Källberg. The Swede took home the match's very first point – but then the Japanese world four fed in point after point. Despite a certain recovery, it was Harimoto who dominated and took home the first set with 11–5.

The second set got a more promising start, but not even there was Källberg able to resist. Harimoto drove the set through and took home also that one with 11-5. After a thriller to the last set, where Anton Källberg finally got going and breathed down the opponent's neck, it was still Harimoto who emerged victorious from that struggle with 14-12.

Anton Källberg, ranked 15 in the world, is thus eliminated. The tournament's other Swede Truls Möregårdh is also moving on to the round of 16 and meets Japanese Sora Matsushima at 10:30, Swedish time.
