Two teenagers, a 16-year-old and an 18-year-old, who were detained on suspicion of a murder in Salem have been released, reports LT.
The two were detained on Friday as reasonably suspected, a lower degree of suspicion. On Thursday, prosecutor Alexandra Bittner decided that they should be released since the suspicions against them had not been strengthened.
You have to come up with probable cause within a week and it was my assessment that we didn't do that, she says to the newspaper.
The two teenagers are still suspected in the investigation.
It was last week that a young man was shot to death in a wooded area in Salem, southwest of Stockholm.
