Suzanne Osten is being celebrated with a big party at Unga Klara in Stockholm. On December 6, the theater is hosting an open house with conversations and a party dedicated to Osten's memory, who founded Unga Klara.
During the day, there will be conversations and seminars exploring Suzanne Osten's artistry. The audience will share their memories and stories, theater scholars and critics will analyze, and Osten's colleagues will share their experiences.
In the evening, a big party will be held in Suzanne's spirit with DJs and live performances.
"It feels completely right to celebrate and honor Suzanne with a party. She embodied positivity, energy, progress, and progressiveness, so what else can we do but dance further in the direction she pointed out", says the theater's artistic director Farnaz Arbabi and Gustav Deinoff in a press release.
The event is free of charge and open to the general public.
Suzanne Osten passed away in October, 80 years old.
