Six Swedish celebrities set out on the sailing trip of a lifetime in the eighth season of Kanal 5's "Across the Atlantic".
Among this year's participants are "Grotesco" member Emma Molin, former national football team captain Janne Andersson, comedian Johan Petersson, "Let's Dance" winner Filip Lamprecht, actor Alexander Karim, and biathlon queen Magdalena Forsberg.
The gang sets off from a harbor in Europe on Friday with the goal of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil.
On their journey, the celebrities will be assisted by, among others, skipper Gunnar "Gurra" Krantz, one of Sweden's most experienced sailors who has competed internationally for over 30 years.
"Across the Atlantic" premieres on Kanal 5 and the streaming service Max this spring.
