Sunday's concert is being held despite protests from French Jewish groups and local authorities who have withdrawn financial support.
Yonathan Arfi, chairman of the Representative Council of Jewish Institutions in France (CRIF), wanted the concert to be cancelled.
They desecrate the memory of the 50 French victims of Hamas on October 7, as well as all French victims of Hezbollah, he said.
As planned
The municipal leadership in Saint-Cloud withdrew its support of 445,000 kronor and the region of Ile-de-France has also withdrawn its grant. The festival, which has a budget of around 180 million kronor, is being held as planned.
Kneecap, who recently performed at Way Out West in Gothenburg, are known for their support for the Palestinians and their criticism of Israel. During their concert at Glastonbury in June, one of the members, Mo Chara, stated that "Israel is war criminals".
Postponed
Mo Chara, whose real name is Liam O'Hanna, has also been charged with terrorist offenses after waving a Hezbollah flag during a concert in London, a crime he denies. The trial in London has recently been postponed. The defense believes that the charges were filed too late and should therefore be dismissed.
Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau calls for vigilance against "all comments of an anti-Semitic nature, excuses for terrorism or incitement to hatred."
