The book "Diamanter og Rust" which is published in September will be the last one she writes with Wilhelmsen in the main role, according to the publisher Gyldendal.

After 33 years with Hanne Wilhelmsen it is of course sad to say goodbye to her. It is still necessary, says Anne Holt to the newspaper VG.

Her new book summarizes Wilhelmsen's life. After having written it, Anne Holt felt that she wanted new challenges, and she has already started writing her next crime novel.

Anne Holt debuted as an author in 1993 with "Blind gudinna", the first book about Hanne Wilhelmsen. She is also educated as a lawyer and has worked as a police officer, lawyer and politician – and was for a short time the minister of justice in Norway.
