The booking of Yasin has received criticism, among other things from several local politicians who do not want Kristianstad to be associated with the controversial artist. But the organizers have defended their plans and are now getting permission for the concert, according to the police's press spokesperson Thomas Johansson for TT.
According to him, no unusual conditions are attached to the permit.
Two previously planned concerts with Yasin this summer have had to be cancelled, including a performance at Brännbollsyran in Östersund on May 30, which had to be cancelled due to threats. The message came after the police revealed a murder plan against the rapper and arrested two people.
A few days later, the Borlänge festival Alive booked Yasin. He was to perform there in early July.
The Trädgården festival is arranged on August 29-30 in Kristianstad. In addition to Yasin, names like Alan Walker, Markoolio and Anis Don Demina are booked for the event.
